Training Program
almost 80% of the 160 hour class sessions is dedicated to leather goods pattern drafting, a topic which is indispensable for both designers and technicians. Ars Sutoria’s renown technical methodology is effectively adapted in leather-good factories with extreme precision compared to the traditional trial and error approach
examples of the subjects covered during the 4 weeks course:
- classical and casual sport bags, both hard and soft constructions
- technical-design solutions applied to more trendy models
- inserted sack type linings and stuck-on linings
- small leather-goods
- theories on different constructions used in production
- examination and identification of leathers and most widely used reinforcing materials
