Training Program

  • Almost 80% of the 160 hour class sessions is dedicated to leather goods pattern drafting, a topic which is indispensable for both designers and technicians. Ars Sutoria’s renown technical methodology is effectively adapted in leather-good factories with extreme precision compared to the traditional trial and error approach.
  • Examples of the subjects covered during the 4 weeks course:
    • Classical and casual sport bags, both hard and soft constructions
    • Technical-design solutions applied to more trendy models
    • Inserted sack type linings and stuck-on linings
    • Small leather-goods
    • Theories on different constructions used in production
    • Examination and identification of leathers and most widely used reinforcing materials
